i could use some input on some good heatsink and fan coolers out there.
i need it for A8N32-SLI Deluxe MB Socket 939 to cool my Athlon XP 4000+ San Diego. I will do minimal OCing and I want cool and not too noisy.

Hello,

I recommend Thermaltake's Silent Boost with Artic Silver. Now there are the Zalman and Thermaltake large hsf that are good, but you need to make minor modification to your mobo.

I just got a TT BigWaterSE and it was $100. It is quality made and easy to assemble.
Works for me! Keeps Opteron 175 CPU well under 40C low loads at 5% overclock, and around 45C at full load for 20 min's.

i was looking into water cooling but then i realized the drawbacks like pricing, cleaning, leaks, weight, and setup. i decided i would rather just stick with heatsink and fan. swiftech looks decent and ive always had a thing for thermaltake...anyone else have any ideas for cooling?

Thermalright SI-120 is the best air cooler out there. You just slap a 120mm fan of your choosing on it, and you're done. The Papst low noise fans are really good for a low-noise, maximum cooling solution.
