First of all, happy and healthy new year to all ))
I need your help here. In some games (one of them: Lineage 2 C3) I noticed that when I "look" at narrow areas i get a ~ 80-90 fps, but it is possible to get ~30fps or less when I "look" at wide or long places (even when the whole area is loaded from the HDD and IDE activity stops). Is this a problem with the x700, cpu or something else? I red in a review that some places need "more" cpu and other places "more" gfx card. I'm planning to change or add a part (or parts if needed) in my rig and I need your advice in order to have better performance or even to reduce this wide-narrow framedrop.
Current rig:
Intel Celeron D 341 (2.93GHz)
Chipset 915GL
RAM DDR1 @ 400MHz 512MB
ASUS EAX700 DDR1 256MB @ PCIe
Thnx for reading, and thnx in advance ^^
