Windows NT Setup in Virtual PC 2004

Virtual PC 2004, trying to setup an NT Server.
Using either a known good CD, and its ISO image, from a CD and copied to
hard disk,
setup starts, then after a few seconds into the setup process,

"An unrecoverable processor error has been encountered.

The virtual machine will reset now."

Of course, I chose NT Server as the virtual machine type, and raised the
RAM to 256MB.

I also tried the same thing as default settings for a NT Workstation, same
error (using a NT Workstation setup CD instead).

This is running on a P4 machine, with 2GB of RAM.
It installs and runs Server 2003 and WinXP fine so far.

Any ideas? I'm very new to Virtual PC, and I've never setup an NT on it
before.
