I have an older 100G hdd and I added a 160G sata drive. All I want to do is move everything from the old to the new without having to reinstall everything. I feel like I am drawing a complete blank here. It seems like it should be easy, maybe I am making it harder than it actually is, I don't know. TIA

Most harddrives come with a boot disk or boot cd . Boot off of this cd or floppy and copy the drive over using there utility.
Then set the new drive in as your master boot drive in bios.
You can also download and burn their utilities to cd or floppy.

You can possibly try acronis disk image software. They have a free trial that I believe will allow the exact thing you what to do. I have used it quite often but cannot remember if i have use the disk copy feature or if it is even available in the trial version.
