Quite often when I first turn my sim on the joystick is really whacked
out---I calibrate---and usually goes find until I have to turn it
off---problem starts all over. I need some ideas or a
parachute---Kansas:(

What make of joystick do you have? I have a Saitek Cyborg Evo and the
instructions state that *each time* after switching on the PC and before
loading any game you must move the stick and twist rudder through all it's
movements. This is what Saitek call a "dynamic auto-calibration" system. If
yours is not a Saitek maybe other manufacturers have adopted this. Anyway I
find it a pain as occasionally I forget to do it! HTH :0))

Lain, thanks. I have a Cyborg Saitek---the problem with calibration
didn't show up for sometime---but after I had to calibrate it the first
time it comes up a lot now. It is an aggrevation--but I can live with
it just to get to fly.--Kansas

thanks for the info---I'll put up with it just to fly-- and I'm using a
cyborg, too. Kansas

If you reset to default it works really well.
