I am trying to connect my Dell laptop running XP sp2 to a trimble Pro XT gps
bluetooth receiver. The instructions with the receiver says to connect
without using a passkey. I make the connection to the reciever with the Add
Bluetooth Device Wizard with no pssskey required. I am using the ESRI ArcPad
software with the Trimble GPS software. When I try to connect to the
receiver with the Arcpad Software, I get a message that adevice is trying to
connect to my computer and to click to allow. When I click on the message, I
get the Add Bluetooth Device Wizard wanting me to give the passkey tha I used
to initiate the original connection. I cannot get pass this point. If I
bypass the Wizard, I cannot connect to the GPS. How do I disable the 2nd
request for the Passkey?
