No.
TS CALs and Office CALs are two different things.
TS can be licensed per devive or per user.
Office is always licensed per device, and you need an Office CAL
for every device that uses Office, either locally or through a TS
session.

Vera,

I licensed my ts to be by user so I could connect through a variety of
sources. Are you saying that if I log onto my ts and run word from a
local workstation, then go home and log in to ts from my home via a vpn
from my home pc I new two licenses for word for one user?

That would not be fun at all...
