i was using ibook g4 and got sick and tired of it...
so i've decided to build a new laptop.
before i decide to choose a whitebox (barebone) notebook...
i got into this cpu choosing problem...
would AMD Turion 64 be better than Pentium M?
turion is much cheaper than pentium m (generally);
i couldn't find any benchmarks between turion and pentium m.
another... i read that M2 socket will come out this year;
will there be another socket for Mobile Processors for AMD also?
lastly... can anyone recommend me a good barebone notebook?
i need a laptop w/ independant vga card w/ glare type (reflective shining) screen @ least 15"
