Connection Notification Icon

Can the icon that is displayed on the task bar showing that the internet connection is active be changed? The reason for this is that the icon is identical to the network icon on the task bar and I am looking for a way to differentiate between the two. I am using XP Professional.

I have XP and dont know a way to change it.

Dont think you can change the icon but you can rename them. Goto control panel/network connections. Right click them and select rename. Call it what you want. In the system tray when you move mouse over the icon it will pop up the name of the connection.
Only thing I can think of to do.
