I use terminal services for admin purposes but I often loose the network
connection while logged in because its over a wireless network. What
happens is that the network connection drops but the TS session stays
active. So if this happens twice in a row and I try to log back in it gives
me an error saying the connection limit has been exceeded. The server is at
another location so its hard for me to get there to login and reset the
connections.

1. Is there any way to drop the connection remotely so that I don't have to
go to the machine.
2. Is there any way to prevent this from happening?

FYI: I am using win2k3 server.

Thanks

Yes, you should configure a short time-out setting (let's say 5
minutes) on disconnected sessions, and have them reset
automatically when the connection is dropped. This is done in TS
Connection Configuration - rdp-tcp connection - properties.

You could also enable KeepAlives, to make sure the server detects
that the connections has been dropped:
