Buying Parts for New PC and need advice.

I havent had to build a new pc in years.... unfortunately mine just went to craps.... so i am in the market and have only about 500 dollars for a new tower...

what I have:

Hard Drives : 1 SATA 2 EIDE drives

2 DVD - Writers

2 Digital LCD's monitors

I need a new sound card, video card(that supports 2 dig. monitors), Mobo, CPU, Memory, and a Case with Powersupply..

So if anyone knows a decend setup for me your advice would be much appreciated.

Well, you gave us a shopping list and a budget, but not what it was used for... If you were gaming I'd suggest something different than if you were video rendering.

And while lots of people will suggest their favorite model to you, you need to figure out what you need the mobo to do - do you need firewire/IEEE1394? PCI-E 4x slots for RAID cards? 3 PCI slots for old TV tuner cards? (Just some 'out of thin air' ideas of the individuality of computers)
