Hi,

We have a problem with a user who has a HP 4250 printer with an extra paper
tray, he needs to enable the third paper tray everytime he logs on to his TS
account on the server.
Is there a way to put this setting samewhere for this user only, as other
users on the same TS with that printer do not have the third paper tray
option..??

Thanx in advance
Lon

Without knowing the command syntax of the printer and not being familiar
with that hardware, I would explore possibly scripting that function in
a batch file or something that would enable that tray. You can always
use that user's particular "Environment" tab under the account
properties to launch it at login.

Problem with that is that when this user goes home and has a 4250 at home
without the extra paper tray he can't print correcly as it would for him
always have 3 tray's.
If i'm correct the printer settings should come from the client's local
setting's, but they do not give the info of the extra's installed in the
printer..

HP has no sollution yet but we keep on searching.
