16 bit subsystem question

Has anyone else been able to fix the error?

C:\Windows\System32\Autoexec.nt The system file is not suitable for running
MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the
application.

I have tried the Microsoft knowledge article 324767 and it has not worked.
Has it worked for anyone else?
