Need a critic for my upgrade plan

Hi everyone i'm planning to upgrade my system but i've got $550 and i think that's imposible to upgrade my computer into gaming monster.But i've got several specs:
ABIT AL-8 ($175)
KINGSTON DDR2 1GB($88)
VGA CARD?????? I need recommendation for that components because that's too many graphic card with various price and performance so i got confused when i select them down.BTW i only got $287 for vga card
And Have anyone around here been tricked by the computer sellers like newegg or anything else?Can an indonesian do a transaction at newegg because i've heard the indonesian are blocked from transaction?

There is no "AL-8" from Abit. Did you mean AT8 (ATI based) or UL8 (ULi based)?

I'd suggest the AN8 Ultra from Abit anyways.

Those 3 things, to match what you listed, should run about $460 or less off the top of my head. They will give you a decent gaming system. You didn't list a CPU though, do you have one?

NewEgg is probably one of thee most reputable and best "e-tailers" around right now, I pretty much exlusively shop with them anymore, unless there is a HUGE price difference or availability issue.

As for sales to Indonesia, I have no clue. Check their website or move to a different country. Usually places that ship "internationally" have higher prices for products and may not be as reputable. Good luck.
