Here's a link about a PSU I plan on getting. I'm kinda stumped of what the description is saying. Here's what it saids:
Important Note: The TruePower 2.0 Fan Only connectors are designed to power standard fans only. Attaching thermally-controlled fans to these connectors will likely result in unpredictable and undesired behavior. Thermally-controlled fans should only be connected to the standard 4-pin Peripheral Power Connectors. Please do not connect more than three fans to the Fan Only connectors.

Is this a good PSU for a OPTY 170? I have 5 case fans that came with my Case.

I like this fan and I hope this PSU will work fine with my CPU I plan on getting OPTY 170. COme on people give it to me good lol.

I don't know your complete computer setup, so not sure exactly what your power needs are, but likely you're not beyond this power supply's capability. It's a good power supply, and would likely do you fine. That warning is simply saying the fan only connector on the PSU is only for standard fans, not thermally-controlled ones that speed up or slow down depending on the temperature it senses. Those kind need to go in the 4 pin plugs, the same ones you would use to power a cdrom, for example. Most of your case fans are not thermally controlled I would think, so you could plug at least 3 of them in the fan only connector without problems.

I have to agree with INeedCache on his advice to you on the PS and the thermally controlled fan issue. Antec makes good quality power supplies. It should be sufficient to power everything you have stated that you plan to get.

As far as your setup goes I would have to say for the most part it looks pretty decent. Although for about $30 to $40 more you could get a 7800GT from newegg.
