Hey,

My problem is that my PC isn't delivering the performance I'd expect from it. I'm constantly getting glitches and low framerates in games even on the lowest settings. :?

Here's the specs:
Intel D865PERL motherboard
Northwood P4@2.8 GHz with HyperThreading
512 MB RAM
Palit GeForce 6600, 128 MB, AGP 8x
3DMark03 score - 4007.

I've overclocked the graphics card from the stock 300/500 to 321/550, which has improved the performance a bit, but further overclocking might overheat the GPU. Any tips on improving the performance?

You cant expect a framerate of 25fps steady with a 6600 card...and the 512 ram doesnt help you either. But you main problem is the video card. you need to spend atleast enough to get a 6600gt to see some decent framerates, id perfer a 6800gt for 300$ though or maybe x1800xl there realy nice.

I know your probly on a budget so a 6600gt and another 512ram would help you out alot.
