Ok so far i was able to push my little 3000 Venice chip to 2223 mhz and ran it stable. (247*9) I got it to boot at 2295 (257*9) but it hanged while going in windows. My Vcore is at 1.5 and mem is at 2.7v. I kinda went cheap on the ram, so i got the geil 1Gb dual channel sticks. I want to know whether it is my ram, MB, or chip that is limited. I have H2O cooling the chip and chipset. I have the Chaintech VNF4 Ultra MB. I see in there is the HTT multiplier. I dont really understand the what it really means, but i figured that if i lower it, then it means im able to raise the FSB higher, right? Ive been reading some articles that some people hit 2.7 GHz with with FSB at 257*9. That doesnt make sense!? This HTT def. has something to do with maxing out the CPU speed without memory limiting it. Can someone explain more about the HTT
