What is dependence of how the client (W XP) is viewing its "graphical
content" on the ability of graphic card of the terminal server (W2K3)?

The graphics card on the ts doesn't matter, in fact you could have a VGA
graphics card on the server and show a 1600x1200 @ 24bit RDP display on the
XP Client, which is the maximum size & color depth for RDP 5.2.
