Do geforce 6800's cause artifacts in COD2 and COD1?

Would like to know if others are having problems with artifacts in COD2 and to a lessor degree with COD1 using the nvidia 6800 card. If so what can you do about it if anything? Is a patch expected? I just bought an Apollo 6800 AGP card. Machine is AMD 2900 xp; Soyo kt600 motherboard with phoenix bios; 1024 ram. newest drivers. not overclocked. large black polygonal or bar shapes all over cod2 and some in cod1. thx

When i ran my 6800gt with my amd64 and cod1 it was fine, but i sold that so i dont know if it works good with cod2
