hi,

i have a dell axim x30 w/ wifi. im planning to use the
voIP technology and make phone call from my pocket pc. do
u just use the regular mic on the pocket pc...will it work
just fine or do u recommend to purchase a headset for a
pocket pc if there is such thing? if so, what headset do
you recommend to buy? thanx in advance.

Tha Axim doesn't have a microphone input, so there's no way to attach
a headset. Normally though, wearing headphones can prevent feedback
from the built-in speaker to the microphone, so it's worth getting a
$3 set of ear-buds for that I guess - no need to spend more ;-)

So you don't feel bad, almost no PPC has a mic input. Certainly the phone
edition ones do, but there's a reason for that. The headphones are a good
idea, but note that the X30 does have BT and supports the headset profile
natively. So if you get to like VoIP, a BT headset will work.
