I recently got a Silverstone Zues 650 watt psu(very load) and every thing was running fine till i added 2 WD 300GB sata hdds now when i shutdown the pc the PSU wont turn off and the same happens when i try to restart it. It get to the point where the psu is ment to turn off and then just stays there. Other wise everything works great.

In windows under display setting/screensaver/power-->advanced tab how do you have your computer set when you press the power button.
Also you may have a power switch going bad as well.

its set to shutdown so i dont think that is the problem
i think its a windows problem cos it restarts when you change the bios settings like it always used to but just not when you shutdown the system from windows.

i will try removing the hdds but that is not really a long term solution cos i have used all the molexs so i cant change the ones its plugged into or anything.

by power switch do you mean the one in the case or on in the psu intself.
