X850 vs MSI NX 6800

So i've been pestering you people for video cards, and i decided to go wth the X850 one.. while looking for prices my friend pops out of nowhere and pulls an MSI NX 6800 256 out of his ass... seems he's selling it for 400$

A) Which is the better card?
B) Is that a good deal for the MSI card?

400$ for anything under a 7800 GTX is a bad deal. Also is the NX 6800 256 a 6800 Ultra, GT or Regular? All of these are a bad deal for 400$. At that price you could easily get a 7800 GT which would perform much better than both of those cards.

Its a GT, and my friend said he'd be willing to go for 350$

so the question stands really... which would be the better deal?

I cannot answer, but this topic would be better placed in the graphic card forum that in the TV/Video card forum, which is for tv or video capture card..
