I got an XFX6800 GS, 3 days ago from www.zipzoomfly, to replace my MSI 6600GT,and what a difference. I scored 2836 on 3dMark05 with the 6600gt,at stock speeds, but the 6800GS blew it away with a score of 4264.
I then overclocked it, and used RivaTuner to unlock the extra 4 pixel pipes, and the 6th vertex pipe, and scored an impressive 5452. That was running at 400mhz for the core and 1100 mhz for the memory. Those are the same speeds as a 6800ultra, and it only cost me$219.00, with free shipping. It is the nv40 core, and I read that Nvidia did a new run of these for the GS. I had read that the retailers where screaming for good AGP cards. As anyone who has shopped around has noticed, the last quarter of 2005, higher end AGP cards where impossible to find. Newegg has them too, but the are a bit more.
