My question is my memory running at 266mhz or not and also i am not able to see any bios setting anywhere that lets me set timings or voltages but in my bios manual it says and has pictures of it able to be done but i do not have those options in my bios. Also i want to update my bios but seems that my bios does not have a update since 2002 WTF?Is there a bios anywhere that i can flash to make these upgrades more compatibel

Yes your memory is running at PC2100 or ddr266.

Look under memory type.

The Intel 845 chipset does not allow for memory timing changes, I have one.
The bios is old because the motherboard is old.

Your board should support pc2700(ddr333) if you have that type of memory but thats it.

Type : DDR-SDRAM PC2100 (133 MHz) - [DDR-266]
Thats what is confusing me the 133mhz part thought it was suppose to say 266mhz?
Also the vg31 manual has the memory timing option in the bios nut it seems to be hidden? Is there a way to unlock hidden bios settings for this mobo/bios?
The manual also states that 266 is the most mhz for this pc.And tech support said that pc2100 was only supported nothing higher?

This probably won't work, but if it happens to be Award BIOS, try hitting Ctrl+F1 once you've booted into the main BIOS menu. Then if it did work, you will get an extra menu pop up called 'Advanced Chipset Options', or something to that effect. Then you can adjust the timings from there.
