Hi all I'm just about to get a new system but I'm stuck on how much power I really need to run my specs.
Here is what I'm buying:
-Asus A8N-SLI Premium
-AMD Athlon 64 939 socket 3700 (Venice)
-EVGA E-GEFORCE 7800GT CO
-Corsair 2GB PC-3200 ValueSelect DDR CL2.5
-300GB Maxtor SATA
-LG DVD Writer

I was thinking of 2 power supplies but I'm not sure if the lower end one will be enough. Here are the 2 I was thinking about and please let me know if you have any other recommendations.
-Enermax EG465P-VE FMA
-Enermax Liberty 620W - PS-ELT620AWT

Thanks!

Alright. I have a 7800GT myself and I have an Antec 2.0 550W PSU. Contrary to popular belief the 7800 doesn't use that much power. Nothing like 250W, nothing uses that much power. If you have a solid and stable PSU I think the 460 would do you good. 600+ Watts seems to be going overboard.

I'm not familiar with Enermax so I don't know how stable and efficient they are, but that's my two cents.
