We are installing a Win 2003 Server (ITA) running Terminal Services as a
member server in NT4.0 Domain.
Users Roaming Profiles are centralized on a share on a NT4.0 Server.
Profiles are mandatory (i.e. contains ntuser.man).
When a user runs the Remote Desktop and tries to connect via Terminal Server
the following error is displayed and logged on Win 2003 Server.
===
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Userenv
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1521
Date: Date
Time: Time
User: User
Computer: Computer_Name
Description: Windows cannot locate the server copy of your roaming profile
and is attempting to log you on with your local profile. Changes to the
profile will not be copied to the server when you logoff. Possible causes of
this error include network problems or insufficient security rights. If this
problem persists, contact your network administrator.

DETAIL - Windows cannot find the network path. Verify that the network path
is correct and the destination computer is not busy or turned off. If
Windows still cannot find the network path, contact your network
administrator.
===
Permissions at Share as well as NTFS level are set to Everybody Full Control
on the folders and files containing the users profiles.

In the User Manager for Domains, Profiles the User profile path is expressed
as \\servername\sharename\profilefolder .

I found a KB article that applies to WinXP:
http://support.microsoft.com/defau [...] us;831651. Is it the
same issue?

Has anyone some idea to fix the problem?

Thanks everyone can help.
