Hi,

I am trying to use an L2TP with IPSec Windows XP dialer to connect to a
Cisco 3640 Router.

Does anyone know what sort of configuration I would need, both on my PC and
on the router?

thanks

Back in the days when Win2K was king, I got a book from MS Press
called the Expert Companion. It was the system manuals in human
readable format. The section on IPSec was quite extensive - I do not
know how anyone could hope to set it up without something like that
book to guide them.

My recommendation is that you get the equivalent book from MS Press. I
believe there is one for networking. As far as Cisco is concerned, you
should consult their tech support group for instructions.
