Okay, I’ve got a motherboard sitting with no RAM for it and no way to get any for it for a few days but I need to boot it into its BIO's I’m guessing I can't as the unit isn't even printing but it may also be a power problem as when the power is connected it makes no humming noise.

So, is it likely that it’s the memory that’s stopping it or the power supply?

I know that’s a completely newbie question but any help would be appreciated :)

If there is no ram and everything else is fine then you should get some beeps when you turn on the computer. I dont thing you can get to the bios with no memory.
If you get no beeps then something else is wrong.
Check and see if the fan is running on the cpu HSF.

Okay, got the PSU working so the fans are spinning, HDD is spinning up and the CD/DVD Drives are loading up, but still getting no out put to the screen (through an AGP, no onboard graphics with this mobo). There is no beeping either, i think the speaker may be blown though (vague memory of my cousin telling me this).
