am i able to upgrade and should i to 2 gigs see specs n post

msi k8 platinum a64 3500 raptor 74 gig corsair matched dual 433 memory timmings are 2-2-2-5(with leds) i gig 2 512 sticks.

I was wondering if i could buy another set like a got or would having 2 sets slow me down?Do i need to buy 2 1 gig sticks instead and also is it worth it? my pc is for entertainment only games dvds music etc,i dont have a lot of proggies running in background but i like to be able to multiple things at the same time my p4 3 gig was better at multitasking but not a huge difference with my a64 which i like better .i mostly want 2 gigs for games and multi tasking is it worth it to upgrade or is it a waste of money.should i stick with one gig?

Stick with 1GB. YOu won't see a performance gain in any games w/ 2GB. I promise.

If you go 2GB (for a total of 4 DIMMs), you'll have to set ur timings at 2T, which makes a big difference in speed. So not only will 2GB be useless, ur RAM will be slower overall.

man... ambien and beer don't go togehter very well. i hink i'll pas out now....
