Hard to say.
If the retailer sells this motherboard all the time chances are you will get the latest bios version.
If the retailer has a large stock and has had it for some time you will get the bios version from when it shipped.
No way to tell the verison that will ship to you.
Not hard to update the bios anymore. You dont even need a floppy drive with asus boards.
Umm, 'nother question though: What's the oldest Asus A8N SLi series Bios that supports Athlon X2s? This is probably going somewhat astray from the subjects reserved for this part of the forum, but would version 903 suffice, or even 805? Sorry, I'm not experienced with Bios much - that is to say, not at all - and I can't seem to find the relevant info on the net. Given that, I *really* don't want to attempt flashing a bios, especially when it might turn my motherboard into a neo-futuristic/apocalyptic dinner plate.
