BIOS Flashing my video card.

Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to flash my X800 XT PE to a X850XT PE? My card runs safely at the X850XT PE frequency's. But will it work since the core chips are different? My exact model of card is a Sapphire X800 XT Platinum Edition 256mb AGP. I want to flashit to a X850 XT PE.

DO NOT reflash your bios. The 800 xt already has 16 pipelines enabled. The difference is in the memory and GPU speeds. Put a good cooler on the GPU and memory modules and turn up the speed until you see artifacts then turn it down slightly. The only reason to reflash the bios is to enable pipelines. (the 800 and 850 PRO models only have 12 pipes and can sometimes have the other 4 pipes enabled with a reflash)
