Nvidia tv-out paning problem

have a Leadtek GF 6600GT PCI-E. I have a problem with my tv-out that is connected to my tv (a 28" widescreen). No matter which resolution I set it at, I can never see the entire desktop on my tv. When I move the mouse around, the viewport (on the tv) just pans if the cursor reaches a corner (as seen on the tv). This makes the tv-out unusable for eg. Windows Media Center Edition, as I can't see the entire Media Center on my tv. It's no problem when watching movies because I can then just enable full-screen video on secondary display. But with anything else, it's a huge problem.
