When someone is using TS to get into my Windows 2003 server, it takes
control of the system. If I go directly to the server physically, not
through TS, it tells me if I log on, it will disconnect the current session.

Thanks

This should only happen when the first user connected to session 0 (=
the console session), by using mstsc /console. Since there can only
be one single console session, you are given the choice to log out
the existing console session (if you have administrator rights).

Make sure that your users use the standard rdp client, or type only
"mstsc", *without* the "/console" option.
