Doing an expensive upgrade. Need hardware recommendation

Hi there,
I'm looking for guidance as to which is the best motherboard for my system upgrade.

I am taking this system:

Intel P4 3.0GHz
1024MB DDR400 Dual Channel generic memory (not really overclocking so this stuff should be fine?)
6600 128MB pci-e

and thinking of putting this in it:

Athlon 64 X2 4400+ chip
on a DFI Lanparty UT nF4 SLI-D Socket 939 nVidia nForce4 ATX
with an XFX 7800 GT 256MB PCI-E

is this motherboard any good? price is not too much of an issue, looking at maybe the high mid-range budget.
if not, can you recommend something better?

If you want to know, I am using this for a powerful media centre for graphic intensive programs, I want everything to run perfectly smoothly with no loading delays anywhere.

thanks for any help

I could, but I have a cheap case at the moment barely does the job as far as ventilation goes so I thought I'd just get a decent case, prolly the Tt tsunami and throw this new gear in. Figured I'd have to spend loads of money anyway.

So what does everyone think about the motherboard??
