My keyboard is loading other programs when I hit letter keys. I need this repaired badly.

Make sure the 'ctrl' and/or the 'alt' key isnt stuck down. Also make sure sticky keys isnt enabled.

You should check to ensure that a software program is not running in the background intercepting your keystrokes. You should also verify that your keyboard profile in hte Windows control panel is set correctly.

None of your suggestions are helping. Thanks for the response but the problems still exists. I am beginging to believe that the media keys on the keybord are conflicting with other keys.
