nVidia GeForce 6800XT 256MB help?

I am having a system built, and along with the following they are throwing in 2 6800xt cards in sli mode
I have been hearing bad things about these cards and wondered if I am getting jacked.

get rid of the power supply

Not sure of quality of PSU, but I would use an Antec TPII 550watt as a reference, and only use equivalant or better quality. If PSU is much less than $90 reg price, I would be suspicious of quality before buying. I got mine on sale for $79 delivered from newegg.

that power supply was an upgrade replacement for the stock poc.
