User can't use DDE under Terminal Services

We have an app that does some work controlling Word via DDE. We want to use
this on our W2K Terminal Server machine.

If I login as Administrator, all is fine. e.g. Word starts and it opens the
necessary document under DDE control.

If I login as an ordinary user Word starts but it doesn't receive any
instructions from the DDE client.

What rights/settings must I make to allow ordinary users to use DDE on the
TS Server?

Thanks

Kerry

I don't know anything specific for this issue, but as with all
permission related problems, I would download FileMon and RegMon from
http://www.sysinternals.com/. Run them as administrator (when no user
is connected), start a TS session as a normal user and try to run the
application.

FileMon and RegMon will show you all "access denied" errors that
occur, so that you can give your users the necessary permissions on a
file-to file or Registry subkey basis.

Thanks for the advice and the reference to the tools. They have been of
great help.
