More Information

Hey Everyone,

I have a mobile 3400+ clawhammer edition processor in my laptop. I was just wondering how to go about overclocking it as I am new to the whole o/c thing. I realize it is not wise to o/c a laptop but this guy is on its last breath so if i fry it, oh well. The only program I have to o/c a laptop is ClockGen. I heard people reaching around a clock of 2.4-2.6 (from 2.2). I don't want to touch anything now because I don't know how the whole FSB/Multiplier works and how much I need to increase the voltage. I just want to know a relatively safe, yet good clock for this guy. Thanks a lot for any help.

Athlon 64 3400+ (Clawhammer)
ATI Radeon Mobility 9600
512 MB 2.5-3-3-7 No Name RAM
Rest of the specs can be found by googling M6811
