Which AMD 64?

Hey guys... I a mainly a gamer.

but what CPU should I buy?

AMD 3700+ San Diego

AMD 3200+ Venice

will I notice a huge differance. I want to lower my CPU speed to have more money for a 19" LCD.

Take the 3700+

BUT hey, if you´re a gamer as you said then I strongly recommend you to ditch the geforce 5200 cause that card is a huge bottleneck for the 3700+ cpu. Get yourself at least geforce 6600GT which you will propably get for around 150$ (here in sweden it is about 180$). Maybe even cheaper?

You're saying there's not much difference between a 3200+ Venice and a 3700+ San Diego!?!?!?! I heard the San Diego can be overlclocked to match some FX's. So we're pretty much comparing a 3200+ with a FX55 and you say the difference is little?
