I'm buying this board and was going to get ocz EL Platinum REV.2 (TCCD) PC3200 1GB 2X512MB DDR CL 2-2-2-5 184PIN DIMM Dual Channel Memory Kit
I'v heard some boards don't support it but i think this one does, but just to be safe thats why i'm asking.

Also, is the difference between that ram and OCZ EL Platinum PC3200 2GB 2X1GB DDR400 CL2-3-2-5 184PIN Pin Dual Channel Memory Kit /W Ramsink really matter(the timings) and is it out performed by having an extra gig of ram for less price($324 for 2x1gig and $205 for 2x512mb)

Which version of the a8n-SLI are you planning on getting? I'm pretty sure that any model of the A8N-SLI supports dual-channel memory though.

As for the difference in performance between the two models of RAM, that question could be better answered if we know the specs of the rest of hte system, and what the main uses for the system are.
