Intermittent internet access because of a Windows 7 laptop

Hi,
Every since I connected a Windows 7 (64) laptop to our network, internet has become intermittent to other users. There seems to be a conflict of some kind in our LAN. DHCP is on in our ISP Router/Modem. And I haven't seen any IP conflict so far.

Any insights?

Need more information.

Everyone is affected by your comp connection? Does your windows 7 work on the internet. What kind of router / modem. Your comp should not affect other users with their internet experience.

We have a very small LAN. 6 laptops connected to an SMC router, which is connected to our ISP (Telus in Canada) wireless modem/router.

Yes, the Windows 7 laptop has Internet access via hardwire and via wireless. But when using its hardwire connection none of us have access to the internet. There seems to be a DNS related conflict.

We all have to be on wireless in order to have internet access now.
