Can I upgrade from Windows 95 to Windows 98 on my Dell
whilch is designed for Windows 90. If so, how to a do
that.

There's no such thing as "Windows 90".

You can certainly upgrade from Win95 to Win98. You must buy a CD to do
it. Look for a Win98SE full retail disk, or a Win98SE upgrade disk.
Avoid OEM disks, since they won't upgrade an existing system. And do
yourself a favor by skipping Win98 and going to Win98SE. Much software
and many peripherals specify Win98SE as a minimum requirement.

Well, you could call Windows 3.0 "Windows 90" if you want to. It was
released in May 1990. Windows 3.1 was released in March 1992.
I think that Microsoft started puting the year after the OS starting with
Windows 95 for the reason that it made it sound "old" after a couple
of years, making you want to upgrade. After all if you think about it,
when you say "Windows 3.1" you don't really know when it was released.

How is the computer equipped? What processor, hard drive capacity, and
memory do you have? Those are the determining factors for an upgrade.
