I think the onyl problem im having on my OC is the fact that i cant get the FSB/RAM to 1:1...

right now its 232x10. but the CPUZ says that my ram is at 200Mhz? Shouldnt it be at 232? if so how do i make it.......i ahve a A8N-ALI ASUS motherboard?

you can manually set your ram to ( to cpu ) if i remember correctly.
also, running async is not too bad on amd-64 as on athlon xp thanks to the HT multi and the onchip memory controller.

i run a 3700+ 2.2ghz @ 2.816ghz without any problem
256x11

i tried 280x10 too and my ram went up to 234 mhz,
as my ram is a relatively cheap one, i went back to the 11x256.

It might be labelled in ratio's.

Dividers also count if you lower your ram to say 166, same thing.

hi, i got a question..  at 280x10 with your HTT 4 if im correct. would HTT 4x280=1120? i have read somewhere that you should be close to the 1000fsb to get a stable overclock. :?

i ran it at 3x close to 1000 mhz isn't right, you have to run it BELOW stable timing which can go clote to the 1000fsb for the highest limit.
so if i put it to 1x, it's stable at 3x i gain less than 2% un 3dmark 2005 cpu test.

probably because i'm already on an async spec.
