so i'm looking for a 7800gt for a good price, but most of the the stores here in taiwan sell asus, msi, and leadtek 7800gt's for around $450, which pisses me off. so maybe i can't get it yet, but then today i saw an albatron 256MB geforce 7800gt going for $350, 100 less than all the other brands. now there aren't many reviews on these guys, so i'm wondering if anyone has this card or knows something about the brand and their nvidia cards. thanks!

I doubt anyone strays from the reference design too significantly; typical 7800GT clocks are 400 core/ 500 mem, with many using 430/550...

I'd think Albatron, although not as prolific in status as BFG or LeadTek or Evga, would do just fine, especially at $100 less...

interesting that the albatron website says it's only 400/400, but i found an australian review of the card (apparently albatron has a market in australia) which said it was 400/500. one reason it's cheaper is it doesn't come with any software. (although supposedly they have been putting out 7800gt with call of duty 2, i have yet to see any of those...)
