I've heard alot of people talking about these, I've heard there due out in march, that correct?

Also would it be worth not buying a 7800gtx 512 and just waiting for the 7900's if they are?

I think patience for Nvidias' offering is a good idea -- after all what if it's 20% faster -- bet that will hurt. If it's NOT then even better! War will ensue and we'll get the 7800 GTX for $250 :)

If you wait long enough you'll end up never buying anything the way this industry goes! Good luck finding a gtx 512 now anyways.

Rumor Has It That The 7900s Will Be Revamped 7800GTs And 7800GTXs With A Die Shrink Down To .90nm And Possibly Using GDDR4 With Much Higher GPU/GDDR Speeds, Simply Put, Why Fix Something That Isnt Broken,.... Just Improve It

I would never buy a GTX512 as a single card solution, not after reading the X1900XT results, and with the latter being only $519 at Newegg, vice $750+ for the former....

Depends on your budget, I guess....

Yes, rumor has it the 7900gtx and gt models will both come out, gtx having only a 512MB version. Google GeForce 7900 and you'll find the rumors...all tend to lean towards nvidia releasing them in mid to late March.

Exactly

I've got a 7800GT and I love it but the GTX512 is way overpriced compared to the 1900xt.
