I have Win98 and I'm trying to install Office XP. When I install Office XP i get to a stage where it says I need a file called hh.exe and it says the same when I try to open Help from the Start Menu. Is there anyway I can fix this without formatting C drive. Where can I get the file from and if i get it where should i place the file?

Oops, talking rubbish. As you said, Help doesn't work either.

Hmm, I can Email you a copy (it's only 30kb or so). Don't know if it will solve the problem though.

OK,insert windopws98 cd, when it autoruns, close the menu
click start/run
put SFC, and click OK
choose "extract one file" when prompted
when it asks for name of file, put HH.EXE
click start (the start on the SFC window, not the start at the botom of the screen!!)
in the "restore file from" put X:\win98 where X is your cd drive letter
in the "save in" put C:\windows\system (assuming windows is on your C: drive)
click ok
you may be promted for a backup forlder if you are overwriting an existing file, choose on if you like, click next, thats it.
it may ask you to restart
