I want to build a computer, and am learning all about them to make my first build a success....ok, i wont bore you with the rest.
Outside of deciding for dual or single core, I know I want to OC, but am scared I do not know enough to do it right and risk frying my computer. Is there a guide someone knows about or if someone wants to luanch into some explanation about OCing--explainging terms like dividers, Front Side Bus/ another Bus? etc. that one would need to know to OC, that would be awesome. I just want to educate myself about OCing so I can decide if I want to do it, or want something like the Opteron which is good at it, or a mobo known to be good at it....
For those of you with specifics on hardware--I am looking at the 3700+, or if I decide to go dual core the 3800+ X2, or if I have the balls or the hardware or knowledge, the Opteron 165. I plan on getting the EPox 9NPA+ Ultra or SLI, Ultra if it is the same as the SLI but without the SLI feature.
