I am trying to install Windows 95 onto Virtual PC on XP and when I put my boot disk in some information comes up and then a:\> comes up what do I put in after that? Windows XP SP1
Intel Pentium 4 Processor
Dell

I put in after a:\>setup.exe or d:\
or b:\ or setup win95.exe. but it says bad command or wrong files name or wrong directory.

when you use a virtual machine...you need to treat it
as if it were the pc itself. in other words you boot up with a cd support
floppy and install the OS.

however that said i'd advise against it as even though you are within a
virtual PC
you may still run into the fast processor bug
