Well, I'm upgrading from my quadro fx1100 pny to fx3000 pny to take advantage of the mac flat screen 30in.
It works fine with the fx1100 but the fx3000 crashed everytime, causing color streak on my monitor--running like screen saver, the color change to different style. Then the computer restart itself and see the same problem.
When I shut off and back on, the computer work fine, then it goes to that repeat crashed again.

I don't know how powerful your power supply is but that would be one thing I would look at. I would also make sure you have flashed the Mobo bios to the latest version.
My power supply is P4 Dual Xeon recommendation by Emerex of 500watts with SATA power connector.
When you said flash my MA MA board, do you mean something I can install like a driver or something more suffisticated? I'm just an average user, is this hard to do?
Its about like installing a driver. Most times it requires you to put in a floppy to make a rescue disk for the bios which it will make for you. Just in case something were to go wrong during the install. Without the rescue disk if it screws up you would have to send it to the manufacturer to get it fixed.
