I have to install install software that will be used by many students, each
with their own login. When I install the software under an administrator it
works fine, when I login as a student, It tries to reinstall the software and
now I am getting the 1706 error about no valid source code for SR-1. I do not
want to add all the students to the users list since they are logging into a
windows 2003 domain and any student could be at any machine. I know there is
a trick to installing the software and using the all users desktop so that
all users have access to it. I have 2 very large labs to install. any help
would be great. thanks
